About Morris Editing

Blue Morris (BA, MA) has been a freelance writer and editor for over twenty years. His experience includes everything from hard journalism, entertainment news, technical writing, advertising copywriting, and guitar instructional books. He worked in the publishing industry for ten years before becoming entirely freelance in 2010.

Blue graduated with a B.A. in English from SFU, focussing his strong interests on early twentieth century novels, especially the works of George Orwell.


After working as a freelance writer for a few years, he decided to complete a Master's degree in Journalism at UWO.

Blue worked in the book industry for ten years. He was the Marketing Manager for the publishing company Self-Counsel Press and headed up the international rights department.

Blue is also a working musician and teaches guitar lessons in Vancouver
